The First Post!!

Hi everyone!!

This blog is our main way of keeping you, our friends, family, admirers, arch-nemeses, and passing acquaintances, updated about our livings, travels, and lives in Cork, the Republic of Ireland's second-largest city and the European City of Culture in 2005. We'll post pictures, talk about our experiences, and entice you to come visit.

Just in case you don't know, we came to Ireland so I could take up a Research Fellowship at Tyndall National Institute. Linor has a work permit and will be looking for a job. She will also be being awesome.

So come, check out our adventures, post some comments, and come visit us! Most of all we'd love to hear from you, and get as many updates from home as we can. (We're collecting updates from home. I have three already!)
