Fresh Eggs

Jon's co-worker lives on a farm in County Waterford, just east of Cork. She has three hens on the farm, and mentioned to Jon in a conversation not long ago that they lay eggs every day.

We were surprised to hear that every hen lays an egg every day, being the city folk that we are. She also mentioned that she sometimes gets a bit sick of eggs. Less than a week later, she brought these beautiful fresh eggs to work for us. Isn't that a fantastic gift?



This morning we had scrambled and they were delicious.
